faridabad। Homerton Grammar School, Sector 21A, observed UNESCO recognised Anti –Corruption Day, in which students threw light on the malice of corruption crept in our society and the importance of surgical strike to eliminate the evil of corruption which is spreading like cancer and hampering the development of our society.  The programme began with the informative speech by Deepika Hooda of 9th focussing on the evil practice of corruption and the importance of uprooting it from the roots of our society. Disha created awareness among the students by reciting a poem. There was also a discussion with information on the corruption by the Shekhar , Saumya and Roma of class 11th . They threw light on the importance of eradication of the corruption for the betterment of the country. The programme was concluded with the speech by Mr. Awasthi focussing on the awareness and the participation of the people in the fight against corruption.
